Why join?

The Friends of the Colchester Archaeological Trust has a membership of around 400 people and families. The purpose of the organisation is to keep interested members of the public in touch with the work of the Colchester Archaeological Trust in and around the historic town of Colchester.

Membership includes:

• The Colchester Archaeologist,
• conducted tours of current sites,
• visits and conducted tours to archaeological sites, museums, historic buildings and ancient monuments in the Colchester area and beyond,
• an annual lecture about recent archaeological discoveries in Colchester.
